'Fat to Fit: Zwift Racing for Fitness Recovery (before & after)'

'#zwift #zwiftracing #indoorcyclingworkout Cycling fitness recovery! Backstory: I took 6 LOOOONG weeks off the bike in August and September to work on my business. That worked well for the business but not for my cycling fitness. But its a great time to experiment on using Zwift racing to climb back to fitness, lose weight and feel better - can I get fit in 14 days of Zwift racing?  Stats: FTP prior to the 6 week break: 320-ish FTP after 6 weeks off: 289 FTP after 14 days of Zwift racing (2 rest days): 296   2% gain, but more importantly, NO MORE LOSS OF FITNESS! This is really interesting to me because I only rode about 45 minutes per day and still achieved a gain. Now I\'m not sure that gain is sustainable for long, but it is a good way to jump back to fitness with little time spent. NOW - I can focus on building a base under that racing speed by jumping into some longer sustained efforts to start building for 2021!   Overall, it was not the most fun way to get fitness, but it worked.
