'Planet Fitness abs obliques and love handles the right way'

'Weighted ab crunch for obliques, love handles and upper/lower abs.  Putting the seat all the way down lengthens the stretch therefore activated so much more of the core.   Stretching the legs straight out minimizes the involvement of hips and reduces momentum yielding a more concentrated focus on core while also lengthening the range of motion.  Hitting one side at a time then bringing it together with both and doubling the weight is a tactic I employ for multiple muscle groups but it is especially effective in training the core.  Using only the extended arm to \"hook\" the weight ensures that my core does the work and not my arms and back.  The higher the reps the better you\'ll tear the abs up and the better you\'ll shred fat, I shoot for a minimum of 25 reps a set.'
