'Barbell HIIT Aerobic Pump Workout'

'Today’s barbell HIIT aerobic pump workout is a tough one and will hopefully push you to your limits. (It did for me =) ) The barbell HIIT workout follows a pyramid structure. Basically, we will do 7 rounds starting with one exercise in the first round. In each new round we will add a new workout movement, while completing what we did the previous round. By round 7, we will be blasting through 7 movements. Workout time will be 20 seconds and rest time will be 10 seconds and 20 seconds in between each round.  This pyramid barbell pump workout is great because we can focus more on the lifts we want to improve and ultimately work those muscle groups harder. And because I always use lighter weights, it’s a great way to work and fatigue those bigger muscle groups. It should get tough by the end, but hang in there, take deep breaths and push through. Don’t hesitate to drop the weights if you need to.  We’ll start with a quick warm up and get right into it. Let’s get this done!  These are my personal workouts that I try to complete 4-5 times a week.
